Jobs persuaded John Sculley (Vice President of PepsiCo), who was one of the top managers in America. Jobs said to Sculley: “Do you want to spend the rest of your life selling sugared water or do you want a chance to change the world?” Sculley could not come up with an answer, and told people that his “entire life was at a critical crossroads." Jobs made sure everyone who worked with him bought and would "do that extra mile" for his ideas. He also persuaded Woz (who made pretty much all of Apple's products and technology in the start of the company), to start a company with him.
